National Night Out 2007

To: Citizens of Worcester

Welcome to National Night Out 2007. Every year the community comes together to remind each other that we must work together to make strong neighborhoods - that we need to partner with our neighbors and our public safety officers to protect the good things about our neighborhoods and to get rid of the bad.

I have updated my book of Worcester's Level 3 Sex Offenders as published on the Massachusetts State Sex Offender Registry. The information provided was taken from the Registry on August 6, 2007. The Registry states on its web page (enclosed in this book), "… the risk of reoffense is high and the degree of dangerousness posed to the public is such that a substantial public safety interest is by active dissemination …."

Please note that this information is being given in the interests of informing you that these individuals are living and working among us and that it is in your interest to see their photos so that you can better protect yourself and your family. It is against the law to use this information to commit a crime against an offender or to engage in illegal discrimination or harassment of an offender.

The most important thing you can do to protect yourself and your family is to be prepared. This does not have to be scary, but rather being prepared is something that should be second nature to us. Please contact me if I can be of any assistance to you in this effort.
